Over the years, my mom supported me through my journey living, studying, and working in China. Recently, she’s even taken on the challenge of learning Mandarin herself which is something that’s brought us closer and introduced her to a culture she’s grown to love.

For her 70th birthday, my dream is to take her to China so she can experience the country firsthand: the food, the history, the language, and the places that shaped such a big chapter of my life.
